Carrer Parlament<\/p>\n

The renovation of a “loft-not loft” in Parlament Street, Barcelona, which turns to be like a chocolate ice cream floating in horchata. Or how to separate a white-canvas space through furniture that creates sinous welcoming forms.<\/p>\n

When you look out from the balcony what is immediately visible is the Horchater\u00eda Sirvent. The Xurigu\u00e9 house, drawn by the builder Pau Martorell in the heart of Sant Antoni neighbourhood, was one of the first illegal constructions of Eixample Cerd\u00e0 in 1868. It is in front of the market and was one of those buildings of Barcelona that lived between times. Between a city expansion still to be imagined and a tradition exported from Ciutat Vella (and, at the same time, with three luminous inner courtyards).<\/p>\n
