{"id":7955,"date":"2023-10-18T08:49:34","date_gmt":"2023-10-18T08:49:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/h3o.es\/sips-cocktail-bar-barcelona\/"},"modified":"2023-11-24T08:49:26","modified_gmt":"2023-11-24T08:49:26","slug":"sips-cocktail-bar-barcelona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/h3o.es\/en\/sips-cocktail-bar-barcelona\/","title":{"rendered":"SIPS cocktail bar BARCELONA"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 id=\"sips-cocktail-bar-barcelona\"><a class=\"anchor\" href=\"#sips-cocktail-bar-barcelona\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">SIPS Cocktail Bar Barcelona<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In 2019 we participated in an ideas competition to conceptualize the new SIPS Cocktail Bar Barcelona, \u200b\u200bdirected by Marc \u00c1lvarez and Simone Caporale, recently awarded as the best venue in the world in the World&#8217;s 50 Best Bars 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Our proposal was inspired by the reinvention of the iconic New York cocktail bar during Prohibition, shaping a unique space that embraces the duality between a conventional bar on the street side and an underground speakeasy in the back , called &#8220;On the rocks&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"architecture-design-and-interiorism\"><a class=\"anchor\" href=\"#architecture-design-and-interiorism\"><i class=\"fa fa-link\"><\/i><\/a>Architecture, design and interiorism<\/h2>\n<p>The entrance becomes an immersive space that evokes the feeling of entering a cave of treasures. The walls, adorned with precious materials, create an intimate and mysterious atmosphere. Here, the cocktails are the gems that shine in the twilight, waiting to be discovered, immersing you in a unique and unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n<p>Through a metal corridor with a purifying water fountain halfway up, you enter the speakeasy in the back. It&#8217;s like being under a starry sky, but without leaving the city. Twinkling lights surround you as you enjoy cocktails that are like sparkles in the night. We want you to feel the magic of a starry night in every sip.<\/p>\n<p>Bathrooms are a space reserved for sensuality.
