SIPS cocktail bar BARCELONA

In 2019 we participated in an ideas competition for the conceptualization of the new cocktail bar SIPS in Barcelona directed by Marc Álvarez and Simone Caporale, recently awarded as the best bar in the world in the World’s 50 best bars 2023.

The proposal was inspired by the reinvention of the paradigmatic New York cocktail bar during the Prohibition years, giving shape to a unique space that embraces the duality between a conventional bar on the part facing the street and an underground speakeasy on the rear part.

“On the rocks”

The entrance becomes an immersive space that evokes the feeling of entering a treasure cave. The walls, adorned with precious materials, create an intimate and mysterious atmosphere. Here, the cocktails are the gems that shine in the twilight, waiting to be discovered, immersing you in a unique and unforgettable experience.

A clear night

Through a metal corridor with a putificative water fountain in the middle is access to the Speakeasy in the back. It’s like being under a crashed sky, but without leaving the city. Twinkling lights envelop you as you enjoy cocktails that are like sparkles in the night. We want you to feel the magic of a crashed night in every sip.

Sexy boom

Bathrooms are a space reserved for sensuality. With velvety red finishes, dim lighting and details of curved and sinuous shapes create a suggestive atmosphere that invites seduction, turning every visit to the bathroom into a moment of desire.
